The bf and I go fishing in his little tinny and take the kids, took Oskar on his maiden voyage in the tinny the other week. He was good, dint freak out. We don[t catch a whole lot in the passage, but last catch was a nice sized flathead, jeez it tasted nice.

The bf has just bought him self a fishing kayak, and i have one as well, took the dog out on that as well. Need to buy him a life jacket, he doesnt seem too keen on the water lol.

CL rats are great huh! I reckon they are like little mini dogs.

We have had 4 rats over the years...Tits (I know, my sister bought 2 rats when she was living with us, a boy for her and a girl for me. She called the boy Nads (short for gonads) so I thought it only fitting my girl had a name to match). She was completely brown and almost looked wild but she was a really lovely little thing.

Anyway, nads and tits decided they wanted babies and had 11. I kept a female and called her Mimpy (thats another word for being <insert naughty activity here>). she was like a champagne/peach colour with red eyes.

Then one day my mum was at work and found a rat trying to get water out of a tap so brang it to me. She couldnt use her back legs at all but spent the remainder of her life with us, she was a brown hooded who we called tip top.

Then we got a male brown hooded whom daughter called Stripey LOL.

He was the last rat we had and he died about 4 years ago. I ust love em and would love to get more...unfortunately Pippi appear to have a very high prey drive (weird considering she almost looks like prey lol) and she is smart and very determined so I dont think itd be safe for them LOL

    Blah

I don't know why so many people freak out over them, they're such great little animals and they have their own personalities.

PMSL @ Nads and Tits, hey at least it's original

Mint and Vanilla are characters out of one of my favourite anime series. We got Mint first then about a week later decided to get a second one. They're both girls so no worries about babies! I think we will get a boy next time though, I heard they are more cuddly, my 2 like sitting on my shoulder, but are much more interested in exploring.

They have a 6 story cage that used the be a skinny bookcase, I just put a wire door on the front and added ladders etc.

Do you have a picture of your set up?

My sisters male was a little ahole to be honest....compared to my girls. Stripey was a nice male but Nads was a biter. I think the problem was that she didnt handle him enough. I would try but I had at that stage 2 young dogs a 6 month old baby and my own rat Tits (and then 11 babies) to care for so I didnt have time for her rat as well.

Tits was awesome...she was so good she even let me handle her babies right after she had them - so creepy when they are born I reckon, but once they get fur baby rats are the cutest ever. They have super fat faces, with short little bodies and really long legs LOL. They are ust gorgeous.

Anyway, she was my most cuddly rat...probably followed by Stripey then TT...Mimpy was friendly but always a bit timid.

I would love to see a pic of your set up and your girls....

I love Spearfishing.....playing with sharks, dolphins, whales and the odd octopus or 2. Free diving is part of this so i guess i love free diving too. Love shooting, haven't done it since i moved here which sucks but i plan to get into it again. Last but not least i love free fall parachuting. I want to learn to do it solo soon and then move onto the bat suit things!
