I was going to say: most of my clothes already look like they're made of dog hair!

I save up all the hair from the poodles when I clip them and felt it

Dog hair is 70% warmer than sheeps wool.

That's pretty cool, you could make genuine poodle suits for the Cresteds!

How do you spin it into yarn? Do you have one of those spinning wheels or sort of hand twist it?

I'd love to get it spun one day, have a few big bags of it here. I just do the felting at the moment because it's easy... Felting is the flat sheets of fibre matted together.

We have a spinner guild here in town, I have been meaning to call them for ages for a quote.

    What's it like to dye?

The hair from my white boy dyes really well, once it's felted I just dip it in a tub with fabric dye, I'll have to charge my camera and take some pics.

I want to learn how to do proper needle felting but can't find the tools anywhere

Crested - Spotlight has felting needles and if there is a Steiner store near you they offer felting classes.

    I'd love to see pics
