Thread: Rebel Bikies Here

    Default Rebel Bikies Here

Well it has been all over our news and the Victorian news that we are getting the Reble Bikie gang here as their annual comferance.
I honestly can't see what the big deal is they are here for a few days then they will be off once more.
One thing is that yes they are a gang, but you keep out of their way they will not bother you.

People hear Bikie gang and start to tremble. There are differences I know but all organisations are a group. The bikies may dabble in the wrong side of the law at times, but a big lot of them have jobs that they have to go to every
    working day.

At the moment we have got the Country Music going on here. And these people come to town in their caravans and are fully stocked. So they while here for the week spend as little as possible but get to park in places due to a little pink sticker on their windscreens.

The Bikies on the other hand come here and spend. They will bring in more money in this one vist as what the Country Music week has bought in is its 17 years or so.

yeah ive got mates who are in bikie "gangs" normal everyday people with familes and jobs..... like you said, some of them flirt with the law at times, but i know of cops who are in them also...... nothign to fear, some of the friendliest people you'll meet, always good for a beer and a chat, they also do alot of work for charity too....

Its one of their annual runs. I have a few friends that are there at the moment. They are all bloody harmless I hate when you are at the traffic lights and they swarms your car and go speeding off, but it is a beautiful sight and sound thou!

I always think it's exiting to see a group of them on the road too. They don't bother me at all. I just give them lots of space when I'm driving. Will pull over if I can too if there's some ahead and some behind me so they can join up.

It is a little off putting when you are driving by yourself out in the rural areas and suddenly you are surrounded by The Ulan's (?spelling) who are local here and not so friendly

At one time when I was working.
I got to be good friends with a bikie and he actually gave me lifts to work.
But from what he was saying was that he was here in hiding.
I think he done something wrong and had to lay low for a year or so.
But as a fella he couldn't fault him.
Great personallity and would help out where he could.
But I finished work due to me back and it was the last I heard of him.
But I know he headed back to Melbourne.

The Bikies as a group are scary and I don't care who you are.
And I think you treat them with respect you will get the same back.

Uhlans and they aren't so bad unless you are into some pretty bad stuff yourself they tend not to want to draw attention for obvious reasons, I am yet to see one rip the head off a babies teddy bear down Dean or High Street, there are a lot worse then them in Albury/Wodonga that wouldn't care who you were before kicking the crap out of you

My husband does private gigs for the Rebels regularly. They are a rowdy bunch but are pretty harmless if you stay out of their way

LOL ok I'm not going to ask what sort of gigs, all sorts of "gigs" running around in my imagination.

I use to ride no longer can (physically, although I do still mentally (makes sense if you have ever ridden) after coming off one to many times. When I use to do runs pretty much every time people would freak all they saw was leathers (for our protection) followed up by a big dose of public paranoia, maybe that's why I am so against BSL, judge the deed not the breed lol there have been more stabbings, shootings, beatings and kicking resulting in murder in this area from non "bikie" groups then there ever will be by a small minority of patched members that ride bikes and no I am not and never have been one of those members
