I have no paranoia about all Bikers........There are many Bikers here. The ex Vietnam Vets are a great bunch, even though they all look like rough bunch and all leathered up and hairy. The veteran Bikers are another group I enjoy watching, because I love seeing those beautiful bikes. but these do not have and do the intimidating thing when they are in their huge groups.
Mind you i had a laugh one day...on the way to an Obedience trial at Wagga there was a whole group of Bikers at the rest-stop, I had to go to the toilet.........Left my dogs in a locked car, harnessed in, with all the back windows open.........My dogs lie really flat. I was just coming out and someone was investigating around my car. Well Annabelle went "off tap", the others joined in.
The guy jumped and became really belligerent towards me. And the rest of his group said to him "you shouldn't have been poking around there" ( a little more colourful) and laughed........ They were all friendly, asked about the carload of bears and such. My dogs hardly ever bark at people passing or near the car usually. I think everyone dogs and person got a scare.

I wasn't pointing that comment at you or in fact anyone lol it's just my observations from years of riding, you do get some funny things happen and they are normally the ice breakers that click people from being scared to seeing groups as just other people that won't hurt you. The funniest thing I ever had happen was20 ish years ago riding in freezing weather, all in full leathers all packed out with thermals etc trying to stay warm, so it sort of hid our female shapes, we walked into a pub and I had two guys shoulder to shoulder doing the tough guy act of you ain't going to cause trouble or come in here lol should have seen their faces when the helmets all came off, never seen two guys go so red faced quiet as quickly, that may also have been why everyone was roaring laughter at them lol turns out a couple of male bike riders had caused a bit of trouble on a previous day and these two meat heads thought they would take things into their own hands and blame all bike riders, just a shame they didn't check to see if we had boobs first rofl
