Exclamation Have You Seen The Black Panther?

    I HAVE!!!

Ok so here is the story lol.

We went camping at Newnes, and whilst we were driving down the dirt road, we must have been the first ones on that road that morning because there were roo's and bunnies everywhere. Anyway, my brother was in his Hilux infront of me and my boyfriend in his car, and all of sudden my brother slams on the breaks, and my instincts that something bad has happened kicks in, and I jump out of the car and run towards the car, then my brother and his girlfriend are just staring straight ahead ... I ask them whats wrong and no answer (classic horror movie moment hey haha) and anyway I look infront and see a massive, black mass standing in the middle of the road. Now this was no ferral cat. It was jet black, it's tail was about as long as it's body, it was low to the ground, and around 3 or 4 metres head to tail. I was too petrified to move and grab the camera because I thought it would eat me! Then it just walked down the enbankment and disappeared into the bush.

But anyway, thats my story of seeing the Black Panther! Anyone else seen it? Or know someone who has!?

Hey Ally...you might be interested in this link Big Cats

When I was living in remote QLD near the SA border...I was up on the windmill platform (about 10 meters high) and out in the distance my dad and I saw this massive cat like animal . It would have been as big as Candy...the colour was dark..but not pure black..more like the colouring of hyena's...a dirty, blotchy colour.

    Wow!

Only once, I though I caught a glimspe, in north Katoomba. But it wasn't as clear as your sighting. And I might have been hoping! It was nearly dark... But my dog was pretty upset, and he normally tried to chase anything he saw - not this, he wanted to be AWAY from this thing!!

I found out about this after worrying what would happen if a lion escaped from the zoo near my house. btw this actually happened Lion shot dead after escape from Mogo Zoo | National Breaking News | News.com.au

I think its scary something like this could exist in Australia! I found an interesting youtube vid YouTube - Part 1 Alien Big Cats - Animal X 1 it has people who have claimed to see it. I subscribed to the video maker as they have lots of interesting documentaries on there.

I grew up in the Blue Mountains, and always heard the stories. Yet it was only recently that I finally realised why the Penrith Panthers are called that...

After the "Panthers" that the area is famous for.

    I'm a little slow sometimes...

Oh don't worry Natty, I'm the same. And being blonde doesn't help the situation!
