    Default GRRR-I Made a Mistake-now I Am Worried

Parking my car on the driveway (neighbour's) from work, I noticed two men with a fox terrier (off leashed) were passing. They are not new to me. The dog stopped and pooped at the very corner of our driveway. I asked if they were going to pick it up. A tall guy said yes "on the way back" and laughed. The other guy said "you look after it." and added "it is good for lawn".

Thinking back I should really have left there and I made a mistake saying "don't you have poo bags?" and then these guys started to verbally abuse me calling names and threatening that they contact the council as I have parked at the neighbour's etc.....I am not worried about that kind of threat as we talked to the owner.

In saying that I just feel that I am more vulnerable than they are. Especially one of the guys had an argument with my partner not long ago re. the same issue and the guy threatened my partner verbally (that he would get him) They know where I live and I have two dogs etc. I am worried about that.

I wish I had more patience....after all it is just a bunch of shxt, right?

    Typical bully behaviour Hachna.

Best just avoid them like the plague till things settle.

You care and have a conscience, whereas they don't..

hachna, not sure what type of digs you have (im sure its posted on here somewhere) but as chipps said, its typical bully behaviour...

9/10 times they wont act on it, just a "show" of aggresion.....im 99% sure that if a person like that was confronted they would back down immediatly, its the people who dont arc up like that you need to watch out for lol.....

if you are feeling worried, file something with the police so they have it on record that they have threatened you previously..... IF something does come of it there is evidence there of a prior.....

    Thanks Chipps and reyzor,

I thought of doing it but decided not to go ahead, The police has enough work....it is not worth it.

Yes they are bullies but when you lost a cat and have another cat injured recently (even though they are not linked), I am sure you can help being concerned about little furries.....cars....fence...

I am sure I am just worried about nothing I feel better already...

Glad you feel a tad better Hachna

As Reyzor indicated....Rarely do these tools actually followup their pathetic threats.....Would probaly sh1te themselves if challenged by authority.

Sounds like they are full of hot air

you might think that they have a lot on their plate (the cops) but this is the stuff they would much rather do instead of show up to a murder site etc...... its teh easy jobs they love (ive got a few mates in the force)...... its no harm jsut for them to note it down.....

but as for 2 men walking a fox terrier tryign to be intimidating.......... i wouldnt be to concerned :P..............*waits for the flaming*

You shoulda picked the shit up and thrown it at them LOL.

That sucks and they are only doing it because you are a young woman. If youd been a man there is no way in hell they would dare. Go and take a shit on their lawn.

It's times like that that I am glad my OH is a bit of a nutjob. Like to see someone abuse me and get away with it LOL

    Code:
because you are a young woman.
I love this.....thanks...one of them called me "old bag". I am more angry about that. Considering those exfoliants I have used over the years....have they been all waste of money?

Anyway left some notes in my diary...

If the dog has a tag - I'd be tempted to get it's number while greeting the dog and feeding it treats and if I knew where these guys live - I'd be tempted to return the poo to them where they'd tread in it. Chances are they don't pick up around their own home. In their letter box might be a bit too obvious.

I'd also report any threats to police "for the record" in case it becomes more serious and also keep a log of dates and times and as accurate description as possible of each time that these guys break the law. Off lead dog in an on lead area ie footpath/sidewalk, not picking up after dog, threatening people - three strikes - what scumbags.

Maybe the police want them for something else already and this would give them the right to up the ante...
