I am planning to go to Cosco after the hype is down from the opening of the one in Auburn... I actually have no idea what they sell but just to see. It's not something like Daiso (i.e. 100 yen store from Japan) right?

I've never been to Daiso in Australia.. I think it's in Melbourne? But I've been to one in Japan. $2.80 (I think that's the price in Aussie) for everything is a lot more expensive than 100 yen! (well 105 yen including tax).

Last time I had to put money in the shopping trolley, I left it about 1km down the street and I haven't been back to that shopping centre since. I was 1km down the street because that was the closest car park I could get. In the middle of a prime zone for toorack tractors - the car parks were built not quite wide enough for 1980s ford lasers.

Since then they have been bitching and moaning about a steady decline in customers - and have invested huge amounts of money in digging all the car parks up and rebuilding everything so you can't get near the place.

I always feel it's ok if I have to pay for the trolley that someone else can push it back for the 20cents or whatever, so I feel no guilt at taking it a very long way from the shopping centre and abandoning it.

1km away? That must have been your cardio for a day! I live 1.5km away from Parramatta Westfield (My Track says so)
