I reckon centerlink should pay the same each to adults that are single as they do to adults that share - whether defacto, married, or "just friends". I am stuffed if I see why a married couple should get less than a brother and sister sharing a house.

Actually I know of quite a few g a y people who have managed to have children, with g a y or straight partners. And I've been told by someone with a g a y in their family that it can be hereditary / genetic. So the poster isn't quite right. But I'm being picky, it's still funny.

I went to pay for breakfast at a cafe that me and my mum had been enjoying for about a week while we were in Perth - and the guy made some comment about me paying for my partner. Um oops. Just because he's a queen doesn't make me g a y. I laughed because I'd let her pay a few times, so she did look like my "sugar mommy" instead of my mum.

Yes Hyacinth it has been proven with some *** men that because the female body doesn't recognise male cells that the mothers immune system makes chemical changes on the male chromosomes. ( i have probably worded that all wrong ) The more sons she has the more likely that 1 will be ***.

I have seen a few of these stickers around town, thought they were highly amusing

I completely agree that it's unfair that married or defacto couples get less than say a brother/sister living together.
Just because we are a couple doesn't mean we eat less or use less power.

Back to the g a y topic. I don't know if it's genetic (as in passed on) or what, but I do believe it's not a choice as many people try to claim.
It's a lot more acceptable in this day and age which is great.
I remember back when my high school friend told us he was ***, he was so scared, the first thing he said afterwards was "If you hate me now I understand". It's a shame people still have to think that way.

Slightly OTT, but we have some awesome signs at work (a youth drop-in centre) that say:

'When are you going to tell your parents that you're straight'

    I think it's a powerful message.
