Agreed, that's all I'm waiting on!

I love all the quirky merchandise they are putting out, the paper dolls, the condoms, it's great.

    I LOVE this cake:

I'm thinking she'll go for a fitted top bit, strapless, and hair down.

Because she is getting married in the church is it west minster abbey? she has to wear something to cover her shoulders/arms. Thats why Dianna had sleeves on her dress too.

I am looking forward to it, I am also English, and they are my age. I dont find either of them good looking, but they are nice people.

I am wondering if they will mention Dianna some how, maybe with white roses, or maybe play candle in the wind?

Also Kate wanted flowers in her hair and the royals wanted her to have a tiara/crown so that will be interesting to see who wins there LOL

Charles and Diana were married the same year as my parents. They had William the same year my parents had me. Thats about all I care to know of the topic. I have zero opinion of Charles's new wife Camilla.
Will and Kate seem like a nice couple. We're not really able ot see the intimate side of things. As in their social interactions. It's all very much play for the camera but I[m sure if they're planning their marriage they must be happy. As for the fact that it's a royal hoo haa... i couldn't care less and almost definitely won't be watching it.

I agree about the dress - bleergh. I think Kate will go with something more slim fitting and not so poofy.

(Edited to add - I think Diana was actually about 5 years older than me??)
Diana would be fifty. No fun looking like a puffball dragging a train the length of a football field down the isle, imagine the weight and the dirt. Fitted with a nice neckline would be good, never been big on the strapless look unless the nieckline was nice , reminds me of the old boob tubes LOL

Strapless? A future queen? That seems a little risque.

Being between the ages of 19 and 26, I will spend the wedding with a whole heap of overly intoxicated friends who plan on playing 'The Royal Drinking Game'. Not me though, I'm not much of a drinker.

I will watch it if I remember to turn the TV on. (What channel, what time?)
My first thought seeing Diana's dress was that it needed ironing, lol.
I am not a royalist but will watch the pomp and ceremony of an archaic institution.

My thoughts on Charles and Camilla are that if he had been allowed to marry his love in the first place Diana may have been able to have a much happier life away from royalty. BUT, he had to marry a white virgin and get an heir and a spare. All to the detriment of Diana.

Bahahhaha - every channel all day and all night and for a few days leading up to it, like now!

Yes although I dont really care it is our heritage and tradition. And on Charles - yes to the detriment of all 3 people involved and Princess Margaret wasnt any luckier either. I guess this occurs in many cultures around the world. Sad really, Sigh.

    That Corgy cake is hilarious.

As someone who is into equality, I obviously disagree with the Monarchy.

I hope they have a nice marriage though.

I probably won't watch all of the wedding, but I'll check out the dress.
