Last night I was talking to a friend about it because I was wondering what it would look like on me, and then I had a brain wave - silver eyeliner! So I put a dot where I wanted it to go, and this is the result! I had to edit it a bit, the photo was too dark but it is basically the same.

Nice! The stud would be a bit small than that though, I think

    I know. Do it anyway.

It gets really weird when I see a gorgeous Indian girl who has some done, and she looks so pretty and I'm crying.

I get used to it eventually, I just find it a bit distracting to start with. It's not something I see often enough to be always used to it (and not cry).

Be careful with getting your nose done babe.

I have had mine done one both sides, had to re-pierce once, and the one on the right side was rubbing against a nerve - VERY painful if the get the wrong spot, and the pain shoots up behind your eye too. So I took that one out.

The studs can get ripped out VERY easily! and it stings like a MOFO! It can get caught on towels when drying your face, because you forget it's there, on your clothes when dressing and undressing. If you get a cold, you will find it very hard to blow your nose, particularly with a stud. Ball-end studs are the ones I would recommend, they're less likely to fall out. Hook-end studs fall out very easily.

I have a ring in now because it doesn't come out, and doesn't get caught. Plus, it suits my face. I love my nose pierced, but it can hurt.

I also have my tongue done. I have had it in for three years now. No chipped teeth. I have bitten it while eating, but it doesn't hurt at all... just a surprise to bite down on a metal ball and that's it. No drooling lol, no speech impediment.
Yes it is swollen for a few days after you get it, and you CAN eat, just chew slowly and be careful... icypoles of course help with swelling, so invest in some of those. Good time of year for it anyway.
It didn't hurt much either. I expected lots of pain, but it wasn't that bad.

I LOVE my tongue ring. And I don't think it looks tacky at all. I love piercings, I think they are sexy =) hehe

Bottom line... My nose piercings have caused me A LOT more pain. But I love both.

I am allowed to get my nose done!

    This is how it went.

Mum: Mike, Brittany wants to get her nose pierced.
    Dad: WHAT?! Yeah, okay.
Me: *On the floor, knocked out*

I've decided to get it done while in Townsville this weekend, the first time I have been to see my best friends in two years so it's a great way to mark the occasion!

Um. Some piercing shops are better than others so make sure you still do your research - word of mouth is best - on the shop you decide to choose.

    I got my belly ring done at 15 on my birthday;

Dad walks in; want a belly ring?
    me; are you high?
    dad; going 1.... going 2....
    me; YAY, yes please....

Your best to go to tattooist's what ever you do dont go to hair dress's they are meant for hair not pieces. Got my ears done as kid at hair dress's and they snapped the ring in my ear while they did it... and because of that it didnt go though straight and now my ear rings dont sit straight... GRRrrrr
