Daughter went back to school yesterday, and already I have had to fork out $70...not for fees.

Graduated Year 12 last year and into Uni in 2 weeks!

Lucky enough now there's the ERT for primary and high school students.

    Sorry, what is ERT?

CD, my girl has a swimming carnival tomorrow. They asked for the money last year and I am positive I paid then, but they have no record of it...typical. They also seem to not like sending home change either

I've had to fork out $600 for uniforms and books for one of mine. Public school too.. so where is this free education then?

Lockie loves his teacher this year so at least thats a good start.
I have found he has done a huge growth spurt over chrissy hols & I have to get him some new clothes. Most of his shirts i can not even get to stay tucked in propley as his just become too long in the trunk for them. Lockie also looks like a girl his hairs that long & he's going to get it cut in the morning but he reakons it's the last time 7 he's only doing it to keep me quiet. WTF he's only 7 turning 8 I swear my young adult children didn't have such attidudes at that age. Maybe my fault with him being a last baby & therefore a little spolit & almost an only child as his siblings are alot older than him. He's also told us no more kissing & 'stuff' in front of friends or in public at all really, lol.
He really is a card of a kid & one of those been her & done it type of kids & is name Lokesh means a child of the world & an old soul which is so Lockie.

My brother goes back next week I think... mum and dad picked up his school books yesterday. Luckily my dad is on a disability pension due to a back injury so they do get huge discounts on school fees.
He's pretty excited about it... mostly because of a girl he has a crush on... awwwwwww. There is a 17 year age gap between me and him, which makes picking on him even more fun

btw crazydog, I love the name Lockie!
