Oh I have just been looking at this mare breed along Roc Olena lines with a filly foal @ foot with Cutta Could lines & I'd love to buy her but they want $6600 for her.

Both would suit the old stallion I have been using & this lines are not so esily come by these days but still a little rich.

    Newfie,
That last mare is divine, I'd be so proud of her.
And any QH carrying the Winderadeen stud name it's a good bet to be a great horse.
What do you think of the old boy I've been using he is of old Cutta's Could, Murrumbo bloodlines,King bloodlines & going on 30yrs. He gave me a stunning irradecent buckskin colt.

These bloodlines are specail to me as I had a filly by him out of a Roc O'Lena mare that was my first young unbroken horse that I fully educated myself at 15 yrs old. Saffie was the best sporting horse ever & blitzed state & national sporting champs 2 years running, was the best barrel horse to this day & went on to be the daily stockhorse for an oldtimer & he loved her also.

Used to go cutting at Max McTaggarts many moons ago, until it got too cruel (training), because it became all about money $$$$$'s
Loved some of his Roc O'lena horses. And i adore most of the King Ranch Q-horses.
I have got a little rusty in my mind on all the lines. But I know what i like.
I like a horse with natural cow and not too blocky. Also character is of the upmost. Mike does cross training with Dressage. We used to have a really coarse ugly Appaloosa 16.3hh, great conformation, ugly head, who was awesome at Dressage (Grand Prix)and good as a Rope-horse. And would cut a cow or chase one. Sadly he went blind and had to be PTS recently. But we are now changing over to Driving, so all horses are learning to Drive The old bones prefer Driving. A good hack makes a great Driving horse

Thats why I want the cobs to get into driving as i have a few bad old injuries that spoil any real riding these days.
Yep McTaggarts had some great Roc O'lena horses & they did have a Cutta's Could colt that was very cowy.
Your Appy sounds wounderful & we beleive any training should start with the dresage basics before anything else.
