I can't see any aggression, but sorry to see you go Nic...take care.

Only hostility I have noticed has been from others disagreeing with decisions.

    Thats what happens on forums.

Thats what happens in real life.

IRL you walk away from a situation if this forum is causing un-needed stress or no longer brings you enjoyment. I would suggest leaving.

If this place starts going downhill for me I will leave aswell. But so far so good.

I didn't know being a member of other dog forums was a problem?? I need to be on DOL and I do enjoy other forums.

Nor did I know that voicing opinions was not wanted. I've found the discussions good, at least something is happening, any other time it's been dead.

But every time someone tells me to just accept something or get over it or let it go then I go back to other forums where I can at least have a interesting and yes sometimes heated discussion about something I'm passionate about.

Excuse my bluntness, but don't play dumb. (not calling you dumb at all - its just a saying-) Being part of another forum is not an issue. Coming onto this forum carrying baggage because or ill feelings towards other members is bound to cause a problem.

We all want to be here, everyone is a valued member. Noone is being asked to leave.
We won't always all agree on things but thats a good thing.

Hoping there is no more goodbyes being added to this thread. Forum will be pretty dull without alot of you here.

It annoys me when people don't voice their opinions cause they don't want to be disagreed with, and it annoys me when there is a discussion/debate going on, and someone chucks in 'everyone has different opinions, neither is right, neither is wrong' in an attempt to be a peace maker. Why does the forum always have to be peaceful? A forum is for different opinions, how freaking boring would it be if we all thought the same! I would have left a year and 2 months ago.
    Just venting..

I do not have a problem with anyone here. Why is it if I disagree with someone it's assumed I have a problem?? Where is the baggage I carry????

If you are referring to my comments in the new-sub forum section I thought they were legitimate questions. I even asked that they be removed so as to not cause any problem. If you think it's because I don't like Steve or his methods you are very very mistaken. I did the NDTF Cert III course, where you learn all methods regardless, compulsion the works.

And my question regarding being a member of other forums was legit as there was reference to it.

I agree with you Myf 100%, yet at other times discussing other topics Myf and I have been on totally different wavelengths. I'm posting on a forum I'm not her best mate having a fall out with her - new topic new opinion.

In my disagreements I don't think I referred to anyone playing dumb even as an expression, I've always tried to be as polite as possible while pointing out my view on a forum.

Sorry Myf may not have made that clear enough, what I meant was that if I have a disagreement with you regarding one topic/thread I'm not going to carrying it over to another topic. It's not like we are best mates that have suddenly had a disagree with each other and not gotten over it.

We are in a forum where things are up for discussion and we may not agree doesn't mean I have a hang up about you.

Hopefully I am making sense now??

I referred to "the other forum" because in my opinion...it was very obvious what that comment was all about...you didn't have to be a rocket scientist to see that.

You can be a member of whatever Forum MAC...I am a member of other forums.

Shutting the sub-forum thread down was done because I thought it was in the best interest of the Forum and for the person receiving a flogging on a personal level. I will not refer to that thread anymore as it has been deleted.

I've spent my life being nice, respectful and kind to others. Regardless of who they were and what they were doing. Recently have had an epiphany and whilst I will still try to remain respectful I will not hold my opinion.

I do respect you as a person, as a trainer and as a human. Do not think I was trying to insult or humiliate you. I am not.
