    Default Your Weekend...

    How was your weekend?
What did you get up too?

    Mine was slightly eventful..

    Friday:
Got home from work and thought id try change my car oil before it got dark..
Sure enough it got dark quickly but i decided to press on..

Long story short Dark + wrong size socket = rounded sump plug..

With cursing immanent.. i decided to retreat and drown my sorrows..

    Saturday:
Got up early.. ran afew errands, got lex more roo mince..
Come home and decided to have another crack at the sump plug..

Vice grips + Hot sump plug = more rounding... yay!!!

Anyone got the point that im impatient yet?
Rest of the day was pretty un eventful..

OH's father hired out a couple of movies..
God speed - Strange movie but entertaining
And Edge of darkness i think.. the new one with Mel Gibson - That was a really good movie..

    Sunday:
Up early and out to the farm to do abit of work for the OH's gradfather..
He is out of action atm with a sore foot..
    Anyway,
Spent an hour trying to get the tractor going (starter motor very dead)
cleaned out a few duck yards..
Dug some holes for strainer posts for the new fence going up..
Bent the boom gate back into shape..
Moved some ducks from the front down the the back..
Helped OH's brother get the ride on mower going..
OH's cousin helped me get the sump plug un done.. oil changed finally

End of day.. long story short.. spent my pay from Sunday at the pub with OH's brother and cousin.. Ended up in the bad sauce with the OH..

    Theres my weekend..

    Mine was also eventful

Friday - Finish annual review and race around the office at a million miles an hour to finish everything and organise everything for the following 12 months (my review went heaps better than expected and i'm now looking at doing a diploma)

Jump in my ute, drive from Hobart to Launceston to meet OH at his yacht club, have a few rums, listen to his plan for the yacht club racing (he's nearly vice commador), have more rum hand head to a few other pubs and run into people i haven't seen for a long time (strange).

Saturday - Head to a friends place to find that their german shepard, Sarg had gone down hill greatly over 2 days and we decieded to do the best thing and take him to the vet, turned out he was full of cancer, so our friends did what they had to.

We all spent the rest of the day/night sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves.

Sunday - Headed to my parents, dropped Peg off (well tried too), made her a new toy for her run and ended up with muddy paw prints all through my ute, tray and cab. Got ready to head back south and got a call from OH to say that our friend's father had passed, same friend who lost her dog.

End of the weekend, awesome on a professional level, not so good for those around me personally. But they are tough.

Thanks Clea, it was hard seeing as we all knew Sarg and Barry well but it's reassuring knowing that they are both without their pain.

Last weekend, hmmm now to remember

Saturday morning my step father came around to do some repairs at my place (I bought their old place), then my parents had my kids for the rest of the day. I went to a friends place to have cake for her sons birthday, then off to a bbq for a friend of a friends birthday. That night went to dinner, sort a double date (dont think he is my type?) and then went home where my kids were waiting.

Sunday I went to the Redbank Plains Goodna Pony Club to photograph our trainer competing. It was a fun day and took some great pics!!!

Have fun at the Hunter Valley Clea!

It is SO nice there! My parents live 3.5 hours from Newy and my brother is at Uni there so I often fly in for visits as its easier than driving the 7 hours home!

We went to the hunter valley one weekend and did wine tasting and a pasta cooking class! It was the best weekend away!

Perfect place to go and relax!

I'm home alone with Poppy this weekend as OH is going to visit his folks. I would of gone but I had a day off work last week so don't want to take another day off!

I'm going to cook all the yummy things my fussy (like a toddler but worse) OH won't eat, and watch telly and relax. Also want to take Poppy out somewhere. Maybe to the dog park or for a walk at another park. Would LOVE to take her to the beach but its just a tad far! Plus OH is taking the car with the fuel card!
