    Default Can Your Dog Talk?..

After spending 15 mins on youtube ive become fasinated by some things dogs say...

People getting there mastiffs to say "Mum Mum"
And dogs that say "I love you"

Can you Dog say any words? And whats your funny way of getting them to say it?

I tell my dog "what you say" but so far nothing that sounds like a word.

Rrooo roo, and whooo woo is about all I get so far.

Previous dog used to say wub wub wub wub - which was so cute.

And a friend's border terrier used to be very chatty. Like chewbacca in star wars.

Ziggy doesn't 'talk' as in human-sound words, but she does make lots of other noises. She even chrips somethings. Usually she murmurs "mmuammurghf" when she's playing. Apparently she's very similar to staffies, she talks in the same sort of way to them.

She barks as well, usually when excited, and growls if she feels it's necessary (eg. a strange person walking up the stairs). No howling though.

while gyps doesnt say human words she makes a different sound for everything.
her noises are different when she wants her dinner when she wants a walk when shes being a guard dog when shes playing and when you ask her to speak. (i think shes telling me to bugga off )

my husky is pretty quite considering most other huskies out there BUT she does grumble at her ball when it squeaks at her

    ....... but she can read
"In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semihuman. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog." - Edward Hoagland
