    Default Any MAC Advise??

When my pc went to god last week, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a MAC. Just wondering if there are any experienced MAC users out there with any nifty tricks that will help convert my old pc habits? I love it already but the different operating system is taking some getting used to. Any advise?

It will only take a few days to get used to it, It seemed so arkward when I first started to use one too. But soon everything becomes easy. Do you have a notebook?

Yes, the little 13 inch Macbook Pro. OH is a technical services director and uses PC. He told me to go spend about $1500 on something that would take the huge amount of usage I dish out. I was mortified!! I was happy with the $600 PC job I purchased 12 mths ago - except it only lasted 12 months lol. And I consider that for every day I am without pc connectivity, the result could be a dog pts, so I consider my connectivity to be literally of life and death importance.

Anyway, given cats and dogs help me work (and tend to walk across my machine - oops) when I saw the aluminium case I thought maybe, when I saw the magnetic cords I thought could be and then it just happened. OH has been telling me for yrs to look at the MAC so, I thought I would do as he says (for once - poor long suffering OH) and spend that $1500. I think I will be very happy when I get used to it. Love the back lit keys too and really looking forward to no more windows crashing. Only picked it up this morning as they had to transfer all my data from the PC. I assume you love yours?

I have a MAC Book (the white one) and I Lurve it!! It will only take a little bit and you won't turn back - I now tell everyone I know to get a MAC. Best thing you can do is take a couple of hours and play with it to learn. I still haven't learnt everything I can do with mine, but it's a work in progress!!
