    Box, sue the hospital...
Same thing happen to a collegue of mine (and we work for the Health organisation in question) and she is sueing for the major stuff up they made in a similar situation (except hers was her wrist). She fell over her dog landing on her arm and bending her forearm back on itself, they pretty much told her the same and you...
She still has no feeling in her fingers...

I hope that you can get some relief from the pain you are getting from you foot!
I have been under the knife a few times, at one stage 3 times in 7 months.
If you are in good health you should have no problem, but hopefully there might be another way to fix your foot.
Take care and will watch out for an update once you have had your MRI and doctors visit!

Nah, it'll just be a waste of time and money, not to mention stress...

Will update after this weekend, have a show so it will probably be worse, but I ain't missing out on any shows!

Foot has been way worse after show... swollen like a watermelon, almost makes me scream to put it down flat and put any weight on it, it feels like it is going to burst. I can feel the veins or something doing something weird when I put it down... haven't been able to go downstairs to see the horses, been sitting down for most of the time, but the good thing is I get out of chores because my other leg gets really sore taking all of the weight so no dishes for me

Getting some crutches today, so hopefully I will be able to move around a bit more... I have been walking on my heel and now I have a bruise on my heel so that optiuons out... so its down to rolling around on the office chair. Sigh... MRI tomorrow.
