I went short with no fringe.

If I have a fringe - it refuses to behave as a fringe should and either sticks in the air like a parrot crest or does double downward pointing cow horns. Not happy. So I cut it short and it sticks straight up. And I'm happy.

And it's so light and dries so quickly, and I don't have to fight tangles and dreadlocks every morning. Whoo hoo.

lol thats my hansom godson He's so cute, he picked out our present, the paper and card and wraped it all up himself. He was so proud.

Not sure I could pull off the pink mohawk as well as Di did.

Ok so for now I'll keep it at the lenghth it is and stew about getting it cut shorter.

    Thanks everyone for your advice

My hair is just down to my bum now after having it cut about the same length as yours is now. I hated having mine short! I can't imagine how much work people with short styles have to do, the most I do is wash my hair, part it, fix my fringe and sometimes brush it
But honestly, it grows back so if you like styling your fringe you could try chopping it all off? Maybe not all at once, just get it a bit shorter each time.
Isn't it funny when you go to the hairdressers with long hair and say I want it cut all up the way up to here. They never want to do it and keep asking me are you sure you want that much cut off?!

those are few styles I think would look great on you, I think you should get a side/swept fringe put in some layers around the face.. that gives you the versitility to have a fringe or not depending on what you want on the day..plus imo side fringes always look like you have put some effort into things lol.
I had a blunt fringe for a while and it would drive me crazy when it would grow just that mm too long.

this is a site I love, upload your photo and play around with the hair styles

I like the first one, not too keen on the 2nd.
Love the last one unfortunatly my hair is very fine and very straight, so without heaps of styling it wouldn't look like that and I cant stand using hair driers (it set off a nerve in my hip that can get quite painful) so styling would be difficult.
