...Ah, I despise it when someone puts a damper on things, but oh well. Congratulations, everybody.

Frankly all I can say (given I was the nominee) is that I am delighted that those involved in SPR take their roles VERY seriously and would be delighted with such a nomination, let alone award.

Rescue is thankless enough without such negativity and I for one am sorry you feel that way and consequently sorry to have distressed you by noting what I thought was your effort in the business of saving lives. Obviously, I was mistaken.

And as for unwell, sheesh, I would love a few hours off to BE unwell!!!! And although I get totally embarrassed when people comment "on a good job done", I would NEVER be rude about it.

There is no place here for such a negative attitude Clea.
