    Exclamation I'm Back ............ Really !!

    Well here I am...

Just returned from a great week in Sydney..

It rained a bit during my stay, but I managed to plan my days around the weather, and I am happy to say that the forcast for Thursday that was shown last Sunday was spot on !!
Why am I happy about that... Well, thats the day I did the twilight Bridge Climb..

I gotta say, It was better than I could have imagined !! Our group had a truly fantastic guide and we all had a ball...
    The views are truly spectacular..

I gave 'John' ( our guide ) heaps and he gave it back all in good humour..

Pity I don't live in Sydney, as John said I should apply to be a part of the Bridge Climb team.. That would really be a dream job for me and I'm sure it would improve my fitness by miles...

Did the train trip to Newcastle and loved the scenery.. That was on the coldest, wettest day of my holiday, so sitting in a train on a 3 hour trip was the ideal way to see things without getting wet..

Had lunch in Sydney Tower and tried a few dishes that I would never think of having and was pleasently surprised ..

I ended up on the 15th floor of my accommodation and had a great outlook over the city.. All I had to do was get used to the sound of frequent sirens as my accom was near the City Fire Station.

Anyway, back home again and soon to be back in reality when it's back to work on Tuesday.

ps.... did anyone miss me ?

It's always nice to be back home again... My wife picked me up from the train station and when we got home, I got OH to enter our home as if I was not there. The Furbabies gave their usual excited greetings as OH entered and I hid out of the way.. Waited 5 minutes and then entered inside... Furbabies went absolutely crazy when they saw me and this went on for at least 10 minutes.. Kuro was trying his best to jump up to me which is something he usually does not do..

It really is a nice feeling to know the furbabies really do miss me... Really makes you feel like you have arrived home..

Oh.. Nearly forgot... Wife told me a good story about Kirri whilst I was away..

On our bed, I have a single blanket that I like to sleep under as well as the usuall bedding stuff one has on a bed..

Anyway, while I was away, OH gave the dogs the run of the house when she went to work and when she got home, she discovered Kirri out in the backyard sleeping on my blanket.

Now for Kirri to have done this, she would have had to pull the blanket off the bed, dragged it right through the house to the laundry at the opposite end of the house and somehow managed to pull the blanket through the dog door to the backyard..

Apparently, Kirri had the blanket nicely spread and was asleep in the middle of it when my wife got home !!!

Wife went and bought me a new blanket for when I came home last night !!

Welcome back Mitte. I must have missed something, because I kept thinking "Gee, he's staying extra long at the hotel thingy he told us about".
