I was also going to suggest how to choose a dog - you could go through the different types and what type of family they are good for. You could also talk about registered breeders and puppy farming as well as rescues and pounds. That's defintely 3 -5 mins (if not 10 - 15 LOL!)

Let us know how you go!

    Sounds great!

I might have to stick with the Dog Grooming though as we have to do a demonstration and since I don't think dogs are allowed in the school, I was going to take in a plush toy dog to show how to groom and clean ears etc. I could do everything in the demo except bathing and cutting nails. :|

    Will keep you posted

Belle, you can still take in all your grooming equipment, nail clippers, shampoo, brushes etc even a sponge to show how you bath the dog and keep shampoo out of it's ears etc.

Yeah I was planning on taking in the following:

    My dog brushes
    De-Shedder
    Shampoo
    Nail Clippers

What could I take in to show how to clean ears?

I use cotton balls. So I should just take a couple of them in I guess.

    GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!

It was so much easier than I imagined. I went up to my teacher before class and asker her if I can do my speech on How To Groom Dogs, and she straight away said "Sure thing!" *Squeals* I honestly didn't think I wouldn't be allowed to do this topic for various reasons.

Now that all is left is to write and present it

    Yippie!

Rats. I never like to be normal and was going to suggest how to clean a toilet...and how not to (putting a cat in there and closing the lid) gives the teacher and class a bit of light relief.

Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.
