I know that I personally can come off too strong with what I say. I mean no offence to anyone the majority of what I say. I say things exactly how I mean them, I don't have underlying meanings - unless it's blatent sarcasm .

If there are people that I have offended I do apologise. Everything does seem more heated here at the moment, but I'm not sure it is on purpose IYKWIM. I think things are being said in an aggressive/passionate fashion and it can be taken more personally than it is meant. I've felt the same thing. I step away from the computer, get puppy cuddles and kisses, play with Batty or do some training and come back, re-read and I keep a cool head the second time around. There's been once where I didn't and I removed the post.

Actually, to be fair I have not noticed the perceived/alleged aggression from new members of late.

Angela, I would agree with you re ppl probably don't intend to be aggressive. To think otherwise would be sad.
But with quite a few members feeling this vibe at present, I simply suggest to us all, myself included, that we try to be a bit more aware and a little less aggressive.

Occy, what do you mean by this first statement?

You know, I'm offended that you seem to think that the trouble makers are particularly young people. You dont know that they are...

I havent really noticed much tension, but that may be because I dont read all threads, just the ones I find interesting.

I think people, including you with your attempts to curry favour, are troublemakers - which is why I ignore some of your posts. Trouble seems to be more rampant over school holiday periods - simple as that. perhaps it's all those teachers with their oodles of spare time...

Im not thinking anything new nor acting differently. I think that you are taking my words and mixing them together for a new meaning. I didn't say all young people did I? anywhere?

I think that you implied it when you said the school holidays have started. I've just read your later comment, about the teachers.

What 'attempts to curry favour' are you talking about Occy? I personally couldnt give a toss about what people think of me. Im here to learn, not to gain friends. If I do get a few new mates because of being on this forum, great. If I dont, thats fine too.
