All I saw was a post that wasn't there any more being referred to in the next post so I knew something "exciting" happenned. Like someone got their nellies in a knot and posted something inappropriate.

I know I can sometimes come across as a know it all, I've been told so often enough. I try to qualify my stuff but sometimes people miss the qualifiers like "I think", "I guess", and "Somebody else said" etc. But I also know this time, Occy doesn't mean me or Mouse and Chicken (MAC).

All I can say (again) is I'm glad we have active moderators who keep this place in balance.

This is the reason I stopped posting in the public forum! Its the reason I now PM a select few members for advice with my silly first timer Q's!

I don't pretend to know ANYTHING about doggies...although I have learn't A LOT so am happy to share that with newbies when they do come along...if they don't get scared off first! :P

Gawd, I have missed all the juice again......one of these days I am going to be right in the thick of it and I will know exactly what everyone is speaking about.

Feeling ripped off and sulking now.......lol

Personally, I think a dog forum is no different to being pregnant for the first time (eeeaaak) You pick a handful of people who you have respect for and listen to what their experience tells you! To everyone else, you say thank you very much, I appreciate your impute! In my little world, I have learnt so much from so many on this forum, I am grateful and comfortable asking for opinions and help and find it a comfort that if I put "something" out there, I know I am going to get response - the good, the bad and the ugly, but I can't imagine I would ever be rude about it?

Oh Lordy, why am I always in the dark??? NFI what this thread is about. Did delete a post today that was un-necessary. Um, I'd never do well as a race horse would I?

Sigh - I am not talking about people having opinions - I am talking about the general dismissive attitude of some forum members.
if you have a tendency to start sentences off with

    I would never...
    That's a dumb idea...
No one has said anything good so far...
Only one post here is any good...

then think before you post. that's all

OCCY...ohhh now i'm getting what you mean.... give me break please, you know that things take a while to sink into my blonde brain...

I do agree with what your saying.. some members post come off as being abrupt though, maybe its just the way some members speak though & maybe they don't mean any harm etc.

It isn't abruptness - it is insulting - plain and simple

I'm with you DA - completely lost. I think people in general have a tendency to take things (including themselves on occasion!) far too seriously.

Are we having fun yet or what??
