Me too, anyone can do an account, even call it slush fund and we get details.

As long as we have trust, and we do, there is no biggy.

Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.

You could give it a "club" name, but I think the person who opens it, they have to supply full details, you cant just have it as "Goodies Club", if you get my meaning, possibly also so many points are needed to open a new account, electricity bill, medicare etc. I would certainly like to kick in with a donation also.

Thank you so much Deb for volunteering to look after the "slush" fund! Don't worry we all trust you.
Once this is all up and running, the flower "slush" fund and the nominations/awards for various things, I think we can bring some sunshine into a few peoples lives!
and thanks Deb, you are a real gem!

VoicE of dooooom. Bad idea - dangerous even if members fall out. IMO I would rather money donated to rescue in memory. If I want to buy flowers I will - I don't need a group fund to do it. A few years ago I organised to have a portrait painted for a member of another forum when she lost her dog. Never again. Ppl become extremely precious over a few dollars if things aren't done by their timeline in the way they want.

    Hi guys

I want to throw this in here.

IMO...I don't like the idea...sorry. I feel it will cause some issues to be honest. Not all of us have extra funds...we sure as hell don't with 3 dogs now...having just paid for eddie and ruby re rescuing...desexing etc.

I need to feed my dogs before I can contribute to a "slush fund". This might sound "hard" but those are the facts in my house.

So I oppose to the decision of a slush fund. I think it will put some members in a less than desirable position.
