Thread: How Insensitive Can Kids Be?

It is starting to sound like a lot of kids are this way these days!
When my mum turned 50, my brothers and I planned a surprise party!
We never forgot mums or dads birthdays and always did something special if it was a particular benchmark birthday. 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th, etc.
Thank you everyone for letting me know that I'm not the only one with kid problems.
At least my fur kids will party with me!

Truthfully, I think kids are as insensitive as we allow them to be.

Congratulations on your marriage, thats wonderful. Now, your son, if I gave you my honest opinion I would more than likely get kicked off the forum, or every word would be censored, bloody hell, I know what I would do.

I disagree, there can be rogues. You can have 2 kids, brought up identically yet one has depression, not caring etc and the other can be great. I think, like dogs that human temperament is in the genetic make up and sometimes anything that you do can not influence it no matter how hard you try.

Thanks Pei. Yeah I feel like kicking him up the bum and telling him a few home truths! but I don't think it would make a difference! He always thinks he is right and when challenged he always uses big words that you normally don't hear. Just because he is doing his PhD he thinks he knows it all!

I'll be honest I dont know how old my parents are and I dont know when their birthdays are. But I've been told we're a strange family, I have 3 brothers, dont know their birthdays or ages either, they only know mine coz it falls on australia day. One cant even spell my name correctly. I also have only spoken to the oldest twice in the last 4 years (he only lives and hour from me)
But that being said if my mom wanted me to be there for something, whether it was a party, wedding or what ever I would be there.

    Congrats for the weekend
