I thought about making omlette tonight but went for pasta surprise instead...

Cook one serve of wholemeal pasta spirals.

While that's on, go out into garden and pick some chillis and some warrigal (like spinach) and parsley.

Chop warrigal leaves (throw stalks and seeds away - I tried eating them once, and they don't chew up) and parsley
    and chop garlic and chilli

Pasta is probably done by now. Put large coffee cup or bowl in sink, put drainer on top, pour pasta into drainer and leave.

Put saucepan back on stove, and toast some pinenuts, then take off heat and add olive oil, garlic, chilli, stir a bit and add green stuff
toss pasta back in with a bit of the pasta water, I usually toss the saved pasta water back over the top of the pasta to loosen it up.
    Stir a lot

tip it out into an empty serving bowl you warmed up with the pasta water. Stir some parmezan through.

If you put the parmezan into the saucepan - you get a gluey mess that sticks to the saucepan is a pain to wash up and you don't get to eat it. So I always add it to the bowl I'm going to eat out of.

    Eat.

My I can't be stuffed cooking tonight -
zap one potato until done in microwave
    grate some cheese and carrot
put on top of potato with some mayo or dijonaise and sour cream (low cal not).
    eat.
Trouble with this one is I keep running out of potato. Minimum washing up - huge plus.

Tonight I have a friend coming over for dinner, so I've got the slow cooker out and I'm trying Angela's Beef Casserole recipe - it is smelling yummy and the dogs are constantly sniffing the air!

Will let you know tomorrow how it turns out!

I have my son, "'daughter" (held her the day after she was born) and her mother here for the night. (mother is mum 1, I am mum 2, other way around for my sons.} Doing chicken in some easy sauce and some yummy organic veges that my cousin brought out. Having pikelets, jam, strawberries and cream on them, or lemon, sugar, whatever anyone prefers for desert. Just all simple quick and easy.

Tonight I'm having home made pizza that my grandmother made for me this morning Its supposed to be for dinner, but I've snuck in a couple pieces here and there already

Way to live up to the Italian stereotype

Last night after a big night out I had a 'fish and chip style' hamburger... Ohh how they hit the spot at 3am-ish lol
