Just the Sage will do then. The Lavender is just there to calm you & the environment down & be a bit peaceful. I suppose you could ask what's a good substitute to Lavender. Make sure you get a good quality oil please.

In the last 2 weeks before my partner moved to Airlie, we went on 'Ghost Trips'...most of them were just silly, but we went to Picton Tunnel and I took 3 consecutive photos in the pitch black in the tunnel...2 of the photos are pitch black, but one has, what looks like a fire in it...I thought that was strange.

I think I only believe in ghosts and spirits because I think that if I don't, they will come and get me to show me they are real

    Ferrero..

The "Picton Tunnel" is only about 30mins drive from me, there are a few "ghost tours" in the Macarthur region, i've heard that this old historic house "CAMELOT" in Camden North is haunted, well it sure looks spooky from the outside, just driving past it is way to close enough for me. CAMELOT was used in the filming of the Aussie movie AUSTRALIA.

I'm a big coward chicken & i know i'll never to take a ghost tour.

There was really only one time that I was actually scared on the ghost tour I went on. It was at an underground car park where people have supposedly seen a ghost. We all had to walk through it one by one. You knew you wouldn't see anything but still no one wanted to go first

MIL went for a tour of Port Athur (just a regular tour). She saw the ghost of a dog while she was there and there were rooms she refused to go into because she got such a bad feeling.

gsd, I finally had time to go back and read your post about your house.
I gave me shivers just reading about it.
I'm not sure I could ever live in a house I didn't feel welcome in.

It sure was a crazy time for a long while there. We couldn't talk about our plans for renovating the house without stepping outside, otherwise things would immediately start to happen to let us know "the ladies of the house" were very displeased with our plans.

Next door is in the same situation as what we are in, but there's no way I'm going to tell a bunch of young people to get the house cleansed. One day, OH was working around the fenceline between the 2 properties & dropped a screwdriver over the fence. He popped onto the property to retrieve it & when he came home he was as white as a sheet. He had seen a guy in a Hawaiian shirt in the back area through the kitchen window. No biggie I hear you saying .... the house had been vacant for months & when OH came off their property & onto the street, there was no car from a real estate agent out the front. (no off street parking in our area) He's been a "true believer" in all this stuff since I bought my house & this confirmed that I wasn't making all this sort of thing up. They've had some pretty spooky things happen to them from the curb side chats we've had. I've never told them anything about my house. None of the girls stay for very long.

Nah, they're Gen Y & I'm Gen Jurassic. They probably already think I'm an old fart already without them tagging me with "weird & nosey" as well.

Not sure why. The women that came do do a clean out had some sort of big shell. They put sage leaves in it, lit it up & waved it about in every room with a feather. And they opened every draw, cupboard, box ... you name it. The whole process took about 4 hours & my house is quite small. I had to take all the dogs outside until they said it was OK to bring them back in. They didn't slap fish together or dance around nekid, but they were pretty full on.

I might be a woos about most stuff involving real humans, but I don't mind facing this sort of stuff head on. I've done psychometry for most of my life, so the para normal doesn't freak me out that much. Plus, when I went into the people that previously owned the house, how long they stayed & why they left (where I could find out), I thought "Enough's enough. They've had their fun driving people out & trying to keep the house unchanged & all to themselves. This is MY house now. They can all just bugger orf."
