    I am going down town to get the stuff to make the sauce tonight (or tomorrow - i have to work tonight, so see what time i get home from shopping LOL)

    Angela, you can also add an ox-tail or some blade or chuck steak to that recipe of yours which looks beautiful, in the slow cooker the steak or tail give it an even richer flavour.

    No, not your bolognaise. i cooked some chicken in satay. The boys and husband said it tasted better than when i usually do it on the stove-top, and they are all okay, but that's the ONLY thing I had yesterday. Oh, hang on, other than those freddo frogs of my sons I scoffed.

    Yup! I actually love adding a little bacon (diced) and a little blade steak. I didn't add that though as if you aren't used to really rich foods it can have a bit of a nasty effect...
