This is just one that I made up, I have cooked it many times and it goes down a treat with even the fussiest of eaters .

    Simple Beef Casserole

    4 Medium sized Sebago Potatoes
    2 Carrots
    1 Onion
    1 Clove Garlic
Beef Gravy & Stock Mix (Explained below)
1kg Beef (Can even be chuck steak, comes out lovely and tender)
    Cracked Black Pepper

Chop Steak, Carrots, Potatoes and onion. Place in slow cooker. Mince Garlic and place in slow cooker. Add a generous amount of cracked black pepper.

Stock Mix - 1 Cup Boiling Water with Two beef stock cubes or 1 heaped tablespoon stock powder. 4 Cups thick traditional Gravy. Mix stock and Gravy together and pour into Slow cooker over the other ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Alternatively, keep the potatoes out and serve mashed potato with the casserole. Otherwise fresh, crusty, buttered bread is divine with it.

Just out of interest, can anyone suggest an alternative to onions? I am not a big fan, and they don't agree with me (won't go into detail lol). I'm fine with garlic, leeks etc. I will use onion sparingly sometimes, but usually only about a quarter of what a recipe asks. Suggestions anyone?
I've left it out of nearly every recipe I've cooked at least once with no major effect on the flavour. I usually get caught out and have run out of onions

It does change my spaghetti a bit, but other than that the rest should be fine.

That's why I've cut and pasted them all to a word doc! hehe I'm not taking any chances that this thread may be hijacked by a cooking troll!

But I will re-post them all if you ask nicely....and take all the credit MWAHAHAHA!
