well like I said, Peter70, is just wrong when it comes to the benefits or hazards of various kinds of poo. Horse poo is not great for vegetation, it is great for spreading weeds (depending on what is growing in the horse paddock). Cow poo is much better because it goes through 4 stomachs and the seeds don't do so well with that treatment.

Dog poo, pig poo and human poo are all good fertilizer and all can carry various kinds of diseases that people can get, as does horse poo. All these poos make excellent places for flies to breed also.

    Hi Peter70

And how much time have you spent studying or working with tetanus or in hospitals where the side effects would become apparent?

And I've used horse manure on gardens and I got lots of weeds. Plenty of side effect there even if it didn't make me sick, I think up to date tetanus shot may have had some benefit.

PS I wouldn't willingly use anything but crap from horses, sheep or cows on gardens. Carnivore crap is yuk to put it mildly, I have occasionally put it through compost and that seems to fix it. I put Frosty's crap in a bag in the bin for land fill. If I had fresh horsepoo today - it would go in the compost not on the garden.
