    DA sighs.

Yes - it gets hot in Tassie, too.

My son asked me about Alaska yesterday. I told him I'm not moving again. Lol.

He'd be there in a shot, Peta. Mind you, this past week, we all would!
We moved here from Qld, as we couldn't handle the heat for one more moment. All that we heard about Tassie wasn't true, climate wise. It's not that cold, hell Gympie is colder than here in Winter, and Summer is hot too - just not the extremes other states get.

After the past week though, I have been thinking about Ferrero, and I now feel she would be crazy to purchase a Newfoundland where she is.

To keep our lot cool I wet towels/blankets and lay them on the kitchen floor for the dogs to lay on. We also make ice blocks for them that are flavoured and they love to lick/nibble on them, but usually I will put the air con on as we have a dog with a medical condition and if it gets above 28'C he struggles.

My aircon goes on at about 28 because I Struggle, lol. Dogs love it. In fact both pretty and Bandit are in here now and Jodi was before. She is far too wet from lying in the pool to come in.

Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.

We humans & Floyd keep cool indoors with ducted air-con or we swim in our pool....

It's just warm here today tho, 33c in my area of south western Sydney.

Madelines crazy she'll be out lying in the sun

Griffen's got a clamshell and lot's of shade. He usually wets himself down then stretches out on the tiles.
