No Hyacinth, don't hae those shows on radio here. You means like we used to have in Qld, with Laws etc?

Thankfully this IS money they have stated they owe me legally, and they are being nice on the phone, I'm just so sick of their computer 'data' problems!

ATO says they gave notification ages ago to Centrelink. Centrelink have agreed they can see the ATO has given approval for the payment, but the data link between the computers is effing up? Grrrr.

What ****s me the most is if a peson is one day late with info or something, all hell breaks loose, doesn't it!!!

I have had so many issues with Centrelink and the Child Support Agency..
They cannot find my ex bf despite me giving them his full name, phone number, work, Bank & Rego numbers... Its not like he is a quiet Law abiding citizen! He was one reference away from Jail time last August (repeated high range DUIs)
I'm tempted to tell them he owes them money, that might amp up their search..lol

My 81 year old grandad has had so many issues with them. I really really dread the days I have to call them let alone go in there..

    Centrelink. Sigh.

Now the Child Support Agency is a joke. I never saw a bloody cent from my ex-husband for my eledest son over the years, but about 6 months after he died, they sent me a letter stating they had located him, and would start paying me child maintenance. I asked them how they were going to manage to do that, as he was deceased. ****, the silence was hularious!

Well if you haven't got John Laws or an equivalent, then maybe your local federal rep can help. That's one of the things they're supposed to do. And Centrelink will jump if Federal Politicians start breathing down their necks. I used to work in Canberra and public servants jumped for the politicians. And for something like that - there would be no liberal vs labor issues, it would just be a matter of drawing attention to it at a senior level and the problem will suddenly be fixed. Data problem. Grr. Those things are easy to fix if they go to the right person.

I agree, simple fix, push a bloody button or something. I can say I've never had this problem with them before. This is a first time. Sigh.

You are right Hy. I was thinking if this is not fixed by Monday (their latest promised date) I will go into town and speak to one of the members of parliament. Could be interesting anyway. Lol.
