HP get compaq to make their laptops

Their printers are great. Well at least the laser printers.

Their computers have always been overpriced crap.

Your computer is trying to tell you that you spend too much time on the net.

I've got a desktop, makes no difference to the online time.

But if you're going desktop your cheapest solution would be keeping the computer you have and plugging keyboard $30, mouse $20 and LCD $150 in the back. And you'd even have battery back up if there was a power failure.

yeah it will - because the lap top can go places... like in front of the TV!

The only room i have for a desktop is in the spare room, with no tv

    Terrorbull

I'm so sucked in - I don't watch the tv... there's no point having a computer in the same room as the tv. I might as well get rid of the tv if I do that cos I won't watch it while there are websites to surf.
