[QUOTE=JudgeTheDeedNotTheBreed;60435]because I got the info I was after, and things are starting to get a tad heated!

And I was saying everyone so as not to pin point anyone specifically.....QUOTE]

Oh, right. You were being diplomatical. No probs, Judge.

I must say this inability for posters to be honest is starting to become a joke. I have seen comments from many here that at some stage or another could offend me if I so chose. Seems to me so long as everyone is all kissy kissy and being the best ppl we can possibly be it's all sweet, but the moment anyone has a debate, or emotions get heated, ppl start to run for the hills, throw their hands up in despair and demand a thread be closed.

If members here such as Anne and Occy cannot be honest and say their piece as they wish, what's the bloody point of being here if it is only allowable to be a place where positive, happy emotions are allowed? Life is not like that. That is not reality.

I am a member on "the other forum" better known as DOL

I have no problems... its like many other places where lots of dog people, lots of big egos. I just ignore those who wish to make trouble and concentrate on those who are genuinely interested. Its easier this way and I don't get upset. There is some interesting stuff in the training forum and there are a few people on there i know in person who are really nice so... each to there own!!!!!

    OMG GSD that is shocking....

    I 100% agree!

We need to be allowed to disagree here! We are humans...we have different opinions...we hate and like different things and yes...we get personal...no matter if people like it or not.

Being all kissy kissy is not sustainable in the long run IMO. It is fake and irritating!

Come on guys...can't we just be allowed to be ourselves...with all the good and bad?!?

well kissy kissy is a hell of a lot better than how it was a few weeks ago yeh we need to find middle ground. I think people should be able to disagree with each other without being rude or holding grudges or hating each other. If I decided to dislike everyone who didn't agree with me 100% of the time I'd be a very lonely person.

I think life would be boring if we all thought exactly the same and agreed on everything.

Frosty wouldn't mind if every dog on the planet was a farm dog but she doesn't get along with all of them and her current best friend is a beagle.

Well Pugger, the point I'm trying to make is...take your dispute with Mal the other week or so. It got heated, emotional...nah, it got effing downright nasty actually. On both sides IMO. He apologised to you, you apologised to him, he moved on, you moved on. It's called getting over things. Heck, it's called being human.

If this forum is full of robots, I'll lose interest very quickly.

I think that debates are fine....It shows we all have our own personalities.

However I dont approve of things getting that heated that people start the whole "Im going to put you on ignore" etc (no offence occy but it is a perfect example)

And the thread was taken over! Yes it kind of had something to do with DOL but that was getting a tad personal for my liking anyway. I purely wanted peoples thoughts on what it was like. I didnt intend on started another argument from member past or present on DOL.

I understand that Judge, and agree with you. It can go too far, certainly.
