If anybody gets turned off then they are insensitive and being just plain silly, how can you be turned off by a bald head? Men and some woman do it all the time.

Di what person would be upset by a bald head?

Then again there is a huge market for all those sensitive men...Rogaine...Ashley and Martin...

Though I don't think that applies here.

I guess it is odd but if someone posts how u doing di in some thread I feel a tad funny that it is going off topic, yet I quite happily derail other threads with other OT stuff lol.

I think you looked beautiful before Di, beautiful now and as I held my dear friends hand through her breast cancer a few years ago, and was the one to shave her hair off completely, I know you will look beautiful in times to come as well!!

Just want to add that pre cancer my friend had beautiful wavey dark hair. Now, post cancer she has gorgeous auburn tight curls!! It just grew back that way and I have to say that 3 yrs on, I don't recall her EVER looking so FANTASTIC!!!! I have no doubt that you too Di will find this new lease on life that my dear friend has found. It is a wonderful thing to witness. Sometimes I just have to ring her after a visit to tell her how incredable she is looking!!

I am thinking of you throughout the kemo ordeal and beyond and I want you to promise you will try to take it steady and you will be VERY kind to yourself and TAKE the help from all that offer it. Refuse NO ONE!!!

BTW, cancer is definately our bitch, there is no denying this!!!

I have no problem at all outing cancer as just a word.
Because I go with Russell when he has chemo, I see quite a few ladies there that have lost their hair & they have such a wonderful outlook which is the only way to get through Di -- When Russell started to lose his, we both agreed so out came the clippers, and he really looked better bald than when he had hair. It did grow back at one stage, and it was a different colour, much darker, and even the bald spot that he did have started to sprout, then more chemo, so that lot went as well. Russell has been fighting like buggery for just over 12 months now, and his sense of humor still shines through on occasion, like yesterday when he was in hopsital, he told a male nurse that he had a bigger **** when he was 5 years old. Apologies to any who find that offensive, but we have found with cancer, no matter how bad things get, if you can get a laugh, get it, get a new hair do, go get it, do what ever the hell you want, so yeah here too, cancer is a big bitch.
