Thread: My Holiday

    Default My Holiday

So I just got back from 7 days at this place

All Seasons Eco Resort - Phillip Island - Eco Tourism - Holiday Accommodation - Eco Friendly

Although the room was amazing, the facilities were terrible. The "solar heated" pool was actually not a heated pool at all.. how can they say solar heated if it had no solar panels heating it? it was so cold that there were only 2 days out of the 7 that people braved it to get in.

The spa was out of order and apparently has never been IN working order even if it was working there's no way to get in other than via a narrow and very long ladder. It was an in ground spa which they never put IN ground, so you needed a ladder to get in and once in, I have no idea how one would get out. Maybe that's why they had out of order on the door forever.

Then they claimed to have had a kids club it said on the site and pamphlet.. leave your children in the supervised activity kids club area and relax kid free by the pool. Yeh what a joke.. it was just a room with machines that cost $2 and pop and NO SUPERVISION!!!!

It is also meant to be eco friendly.. which is why they have no washing lines and only dryers in each room

anyhoo..other than they crappy resort, the holiday was great. Even though I had 5 kids in tow I managed to not commit homicide or lose the little bit of sanity I possess
We went to the chocolate factory, fishing, wild life park, beach, mini golf, penguin parade, carnival, lots of shopping and lots of restaurants.

Now I am totally stuffed I think I need a holiday to recover from the holiday.

Geez, did you make a formal or verbal omplaint to management?

I would. Problem is, they get away with false, misleading or incorrect advertising, which is just sooo wrong. Think of all the others that would probably be as disappointed as you. It sucks.

So glad you had a good break though, think you needed it.

I'm sorry you had such a crappy timer pugger, it's unfortunate when you have been looking forward to something for it not to work out!

I made mention on check out and am also going to leave as many reviews online as they advertise at.

There were other people there with the same complaints... many unhappy customers indeed. They were also trying to push time share on everyone.. drove me nuts.

I'm not very good at that sort of thing, but my husband is brilliant. He would have spent hours standing there at the counter and deducting from the bill all the downfalls! Lol.

I wish I was that brave.. I nearly had a fit when they asked for 60 cents for 1 phone call the call cut out too.

Welcome back! Sorry it wasn't as fab as you had thought it was though.

Awww sorry your holiday was not much fun Pugger.

We used to go somewhere that said 'solar heated pool' and I now realise they meant it literally. Heated by the sun only. Bit misleading though.
