Default What Are Your Plans for Australia Day?

I'm having an all-dayer at my house. Inflatable pools, barbecue, Triple J's Hottest 100, backyard cricket and a heap of beer.

Oh, and one of my mates reckons we'll be playing 'Goon of Fortune' which apparently involves a rotary clothesline and a cask of wine.

    Should be a good day.

    What are everyone's plans?

We will be taking our dogs down to the Foreshore, so they can meet people and other doggies Lets just hope there arn't that many little fluffy ones...they set Sumo off something chronic. I will probably have a hotdog (and regret it after)...listen to some music and enjoy the day

Sometimes we go into town for the breakfast that is put on, Australia day town citizen awards given. I have no idea who the ambassador is this year here, it is usually some minor sports star, Author, etc. This year, naaah, probably stay home especially if it is too hot. Predicted to be 41 today.

I just had to go check what day it fell on (I knew the date lol)! Just as well or I would have driven into the city to work! Looks like I will have a day at home with the gang.

Maybe I can get some gardening done - no chance today with 40 and tomorrow 43! Although it will be 36 which is still a bit hot.

I don't have any plans this year. I'll be at my boyfriend's house having a quiet one with the kiddy pool, music & a few drinks. Oh and him of course
