Default Is It Just My Cats?

That think they can come and sample any food I am eating or planning on eating? Einstein also shoves the dog out of the way to eat his food - and got a nasty surprise when Rufus snapped at him when he tried to share his bone last night.

Nope, not just yours. Mine likes to climb on the kitchen counter, especially wehn I forget to put the Philadelpia (sp?) cheese away. But Jasper (cat) likes to share his food with Dora...

Batty sits and grunts when he's interested in whatever anyone else has! It's so cute and very hard to ignore...

Occy, I have only ever owned cats who portray this sort of behaviour once in my life. I had two black Orientals. Over the years I found they really needed to be trained more like a dog, than treated like a cat!

Once trained like dogs, had no problems with them after that. Good luck.

LOL - I dont mind sharing my food with them most of the time - and frankly, I do treat them like dogs - I even have Einstein sitting - nearly - on command. They are part orientals but they are all pushy lol

Most cats not interested in what I have to eat, too much veg.

Frosty prefers people food something special. She usually won't help herself but when she is offered, she prefers bread to treats, and left over pasta surprise to dog casserole, and plain yoghurt to kibble. If I want her to eat something - me pretending to eat it or taking a bite out of it first usually works.

Im a vegeterian - well I eat some fish - but otherwise it's non-meat stuff. Grace wont take treats - i have to drop it on the floor and frankly, if it isn't the right kind of fancy feast or dry cat food she wont touch it. The kittens are better and I am encouraging them to take from my hand - ie not to help themselves,

Einstein reminds me so much of Cappy in how he takes treats - and how he lies - and how jealous he gets lol - man Im in love with that cat - I missed him so much when he went away to be desexed

My cat loves stealing my rice bubbles. He is such a sook. He cries when I won't let him near my bowl.
