I have been smoking 38 years, had many quit attempts, the problem always being that I didn't really want to do it, others wanted me to. This time however, not smoking and not adding even more toxins that will be going into my body anyway, I am the one who has said..ok..np..tis done and yet another weapon in my battle arsenal. I don't care about weight. It will be up and down anyway according to what is happening with the chemo. The tumours attack me from outside the organs, lungs too so why add toxins to the inside. I still find it hilarious that my cancer has no connections to smoking, as I would have earned that, lol.

Now, who else has good news?

May I ask what they actually do to you in chemo Di? Do they use injections or is it full on alien abduction stuff under a burning light?

They beam you up to a mothership and bathe you in evil concoctions.

    Well...I lie.
You sit in a comfy chair on a drip for about 5hrs, bored outa your skull then go home.

Oh yes, book, ipod, a family member or friend. I would prefer the mothership too, lol. It is just a room with recliners in it, tv etc.

Well, with all the hype around cancer you'd think they'd at least put a few green men in there!
