    Default Relay for Life

    Hi Everyone

Hope it is ok to post this.

In March I am doing the Relay For Life.

A very good friend of the family has just started treatment for Breast Cancer, we are doing this in support for her. She is going to try to make it and walk with us, but it will all depend on how she is feeling on the day.

She is shaving her head next week, so when she starts to lose her hair people will already be used to it

Since making the choice to do the Relay for Life, I have also found out a life long friend, her 7 year old daughter has cancer, there is a good chance she will be fine and is being operated on today to remove a lump in her neck. It is still a very scary thing for her and her family.

I have also lost 2 very good friends to cancer

It is such a horrible thing to have to go through.

If anyone would like to donate, our Team is The Glow Worms, and you can donate through the link in my Sig.

    Thanks

    Cin

It is wonderful that you are doing this. I too have cancer and will start treatment soon. I chose to do a F*** you cancer short style mohawk in pink till it falls out, lol. My best wishes to your friend for her treatment.

It is a ****ty thing, so far no one in our family has suffered, but way too many friends and family have. good luck with your treatment

Thanks and yes, that is me, lol. The hairdresser curled if for his own fun. I wear it flat or scrunched and it looks good both ways.

If your friend has already started chemo she would be throwing money away as usually hair starts falling out after second treatment.

I've been lucky enough to not have anyone close to me be touched by cancer and cant imagine what your friend or Di are going through.
