    Sounds like our house too.
Would you believe I slept through this, O.H and mum were fixing breakfast, 4 cats were still eating theirs, the back door was open when a lorikeet flew in to the kitchen. As you can imagine all hell broke loose, bird was panicked and flying into walls, crashed to floor. Climbs the curtains with 4 cats in close pursuit. The curtains, bird and cats all come crashing down all tangled up. Mum's squealing, O.H jumps into action and pulls bird off Mugwais toes, so the bird bites him instead,he curses and drops the bird, blood p**sing from his hand. He gives up trying to catch the bird and grabs the cats and put them in our room. Bird is now sitting on the couch too exhausted to move. Mum is yelling instructions to O.H. he wraps a towel around his hands and picks up the bird, there are no obvious injuries to the bird. But the towel slips and bird bites again and hangs on this time. Even when O.H had taken it outside and wasn't holding it, the bird took nearly a minute to realise that all it had to do was let go and it was free. The 3 boys were disappointedwhen they came out and fresh bird was off the menu, poor Stumpy stayed hiding under our bed for most of the day. When I woke up and saw the mess I pmsl. Then I gave O.H some sympathy and a cup of tea. His hand was bruised and sore for weeks, but no infections. Mugwais toes were fine just missing a bit of fur but no broken skin. Mum teases me now about being more deaf than her.

Have I mentioned I am currently fostering 2 x rex kittens? Together with my 3 girls (cats) and the dogs, I can so relate to this but you are brilliant for transposing it to "paper".

    Love your work!!!!

And the latest is........seems like these two devons will be foster failures lol. What can I say? But for hope they like living in Tyabb!!!!

boss judges the chewy and charlie's play fight.. If they make too much noise, he goes and breaks up the fight. But if chewy gets into a fight with another cat, boss is there standing up for chewy.. Its cute.
