Default How Do You Deal with the Heat?

Dry heat doesn't bother me too much, but humid weather just makes me take naps and have lots of quick cold showers.

What do you do to cool down?

Sweat! LOL! I have cold showers like three/four times a day, go to the pool, turn on the air conditioning (which is really struggling) shut up the house and close all the roller shutters and hide inside.

I HATE the heat, I prefer winter.

I don't have air con, we have a water cooler. I hate air con. I find even though it's soothing, it seems to lower my immune system even more?

I love the heat! I just hate the sun because I burn terribly.

And Peta, I sleep too. The heat is like a sleeping drug.

Thank God for Air Con. This is the first year we have had it and it is FABULOUS.

Here on the sunny coast the temps don't usually get too high, rarely above 30 degrees but the humidity just does me in. I can't stand it, and neither can my hair. Does anyone remember the Friends episode when they went Florida, I think, and Monica's hair just gets frizzier and frizzier well that's me in the Queensland summer

We get a dry heat here. It's still a toasty 40 degrees here at the moment (7pm). I just crank the ducted air con and drink loads of water.
When OH has time off work and it's hot we head to the in-laws as they have an indoor pool.
