Thread: OMG I Crack Myself Up

Default OMG I Crack Myself Up

I was on strong painkillers last night for my back and it kept me awake.. at 5am I took sleeping pills but still couldn't get into a deep sleep.
9am the neigbours started mowing the lawn just as I finally dosed off. I got annoyed at the noise, but thought my ex had come around to mow my lawn, so was happy with that and happy to put up with the noise...
I got out of bed and looked out the window.. it wasn't my lawn being mowed

So I went back to bed in a huff.. eventually dozed off and dreamed of mowing lawns.. next thing I knew I had woken up with my ex husband (who had taken the day off work to look after the kids because of my back) asking where I had been and why I was so flushed...
I was down stairs in the lounge...

I said.. I think I may have mowed the lawns

Yep..sure enough.. we both checked out the front and it was all neatly mowed

I don't often sleep walk.. but at least when I do I am productive

It was really bizarre it's like one of those dreams that feel really vivid and real..but weird stuff was happening... like my mother talking to me and the kids in their bathers asking me for stuff etc

When I woke, my kids were eating breaky in their PJ's and my mother is in a different suburb

Yeh I know I could have mowed my foot.. or vacuumed the lawn or mowed the carpet I guess Jon would have seen and stopped me if I did that though.

It was the pills that did it.. I'm not really a sleep walker.

Pugger, you can come and sleep at my house anytime! I have only slept walked once, I must have been about ten and I went into my parents bedroom and started to take all their clothes off the hangers and throw them on the floor. Needless to say my mother was not impressed when she woke up and saw what I was doing, but I didn't remember a thing!

I have come home from night shift and found my son ( when he was much younger ) leaning against the hallway wall standing up just outside his bedroom sound asleep....

My brother used to sleep walk - to the toilet - except it usually wasn't the toilet.

A friend of mine won't take Normison because it makes him sleep walk and he nearly walked off a balcony of a hotel and the fall would have killed him. He got stopped by a friend sharing the same room.

It also says about that stuff - not to operate machinery...

I tried it when I was sharing a room on a hockey trip with a snorer - had exactly zero effect. Didn't help me sleep. Didn't make me sleep walk either. For me - a waste of money.

I took temaze.. I wonder if it's like Normison?
I know Mogadon can cause people to do weird stuff in their sleep too.
