They weren't even the ones to pull the kids out. I really don't agree with you, but I'm not going to argue with you about this as I think it's 'too soon' if you know what I mean. All I can say is I hope those stupid selfish 'LIFEguards' get their asses hauled in prison. Unlikely but I want to see them fry for a very long time.

This is know small town gossip gets twisted around. If u werent there u shouldnt really comment on it.
By the same grain of salt, you shouldn't comment that they weren't in the wrong because you weren't there either. A mate of mine is really close to their family and he told me what happened. Such a tragedy. It breaks my heart to think about the poor dad, taking his son out for a fun day and well...Just so sad. I cried a lot yesterday.

yeah i know but their two sides of every story.
lifeguards were in fault, then they will have to face the law..
But thing i dont understand.. The pool was packed and the people let this kid drown.. If i was there i would of pulled to kid out..

They did pull the kid out. It's just by the time the children managed to pull him out of the water, he'd suffered severe brain damage.

I believe the police actually are getting involved, so hopefully the parents get some justice.

Forgot to specify this sorry. The pool has a history of becoming over crowded, I don't know if it was or not on Saturday.

UPDATE: This boys grandfather is a barrister....Queens council. So I'm guessing this will become a very big deal.

Everyone knows to watch ur kids at the pool. Also u said that the pool was packed.,so someone would of noticed a kid drowning.
    Peta,

I think what dis is trying to say is the life guards were not keeping an eye on the pool/s or the people in it. they were too busy socialising... I know lifeguards as well and they will always be monitoring the pool...
If a child has gone mising I would have thought that a life guard would immediately check the pool... Also a child can drown in a blink of an eye...

Sorry Dis you posted again before me...

Not a clue. Some of them are teenagers.
