    I loath cockroaches!!!

    Haven't seen one single cockroach since coming to Tassie. Most impressed with that, as I seriously hate them.

    Isn't it amazing how one creature we will tolerate, yet another we won't? Lol.

    Very true DA. But will people kill a cockroach or capture it and move it outside?

    Is this 'killing' any different to killing any other insect?

    What of ants? What of flies?

    All of these insects are capable of causing illness and death.

    Is one bug above other bugs?
    A pessimist sees the glass as half empty;
    An optimist sees the glass as half full;
    A realist just finishes the damn thing and refills it.

    I think Mal just felt hurt because he keeps spiders as pets and loves them so. When I was a kid I would've been heart broken if my mother killed cockroaches, I had them as pets in this little home I made with so much love and care out of an old ice cream container.

    I wouldn't think any of God's/nature's creatures are above others Anne. I think it is OUR like or dsilike for them that makes the difference of whether we think they are or not.

    I would kill every cockroach any day. And yep, I would kill flies any day. I DO kill flies every day.
    I don't kill ants as they don't bother me, nor bees, wasps, and would never kill a moth or butterfly etc.
    I think it comes down to what we EACH see as a pest, and what we don't.

    Yep, waking up in bed in Qld and realising a cockroach has crawled in with you is just vomit material!

    In my younger days when I was drunk and stupid (shut up you lot, that is NOT an invitation!) I fried them once, and to my shame took great satisfaction hearing them crackle. *hangs head*

    Hate mice, loath rats. One ran over husband's foot the other day right up at the back fence. Now that flipped him out! Lol.

    Everything is a great circle of life. (Yes, stolen from Simba the Lion King.)
