    Default First Jobs

Thought i'd do a thread on first jobs for the heck of it.

My first was at 12 yrs old and self employed.

I had six crab pots, i would get up early and set the pots before school, after school i would race over and pick up my pots tie them up and load the catch into an esky and ride it over to the pub, i'd drag it through the pub selling muddies and sandies to the drunken patrons, not a bad gig sometimes netting me $200 a week, I felt like a millionair at 12 yrs old LOL.

I got my first job as a dental assistant at 18 when I'd finished yr 12. Did it for 4 years then changed careers when I moved over here.

My very first job was scrubbing toilets five days a week at the place my mum works at. I was thirteen and got twenty five bucks a week. Talk about cheap labour!

Junior Office Assistant at 16. I'm very proud of this job as within two years I had worked my butt off and had been promoted through the ranks to Executive Assistant. I've now changed companies but still have the same career.
