Grubby hotel guests who left syringe under bed. Stupid housekeeper not doing her job.
Now all of us are in trouble.

Throughout your posts regarding children over the past few months I have come to the conclusion that you see children TRULY as they are, even your own. You see the good points in them, as well as the bad, just as you probably do in everybody, including yourself. If we can't look at ourselves and our children honestly, there is no hope. I cannot tolerate those who believe their children are angels. They are alive, therefore cannot be angels! Lol.

thanks hun! (im taking it as a compliment haha), it's hard to be objective when you want to jump by their sides and protect them, but as you said if they walk the earth they can't be perfect!!

We're having a staff meeting tomorrow and if we're lucky the only one to lose her job will be the one who missed it. Our boss has been known to go way over the top so fingers crossed. Just lucky the guest who found it while being furious ( who wouldn't be ) managed to stay fairly calm.

I hate drug users who don't clean up after themselves.

My other pet peeve is people walking their dogs off lead out of off lead areas.

Don't get me started on hotel cleaners. Then again some of them, their work reflects what they get paid and how fast they're supposed to get things done, ie management.

Last caravan cabin I stayed at was in a mozzie infested swamp and had no intact fly screens. And they wondered why I wanted to leave and wouldn't pay for the whole week - like the storms that cancelled my reason for being there had nothing to do with it either.

And another quite nice motel superficially - but with no ventilation in the rooms - my bedspread had blood stains on it on the blankets side. Thanks a lot. They did replace it though.

The worst motel I ever stayed at was just north of Wollongong. There was every kind of insect in every crevice and bed in the room, and there was every kind of stain on every surface including the bed sheets and the ceiling. And the garbage bins for the whole place got put right outside my door. And there was a truck depot right outside the bedroom window which had plenty of ventilation but no insect screens. The only reason I stayed was because I paid up front (they knew what they were doing) and I was feeling too skint to pay 3x the price at the other place. If I'd paid with credit card I'd have asked for my money back.

    My pet peeves-

    - People who run red lights. It happens ALL the time now! What right do you have to put other people's lives in danger!? Go ahead and crash your car you stupid idiot

    - People who don't turn their lights on when driving in the rain when it's quite dark, and when it's dusk. Seriously, how dark does it have to be before drivers with dark green, blue, black & silver cars turn their farking lights on???!!!!

    - People who say 'oh Spot don't do that' in a nicey nice voice when their dog is overly & unnecessarily aggressive towards my dog.

    - Old people who push in front of you in queues. Just because you're old doesn't mean you have the right to be rude!

I totally agree about the running red lights one Loren. That and drink driving and also speeding drives me insane. I lost someone I adored very much to a tragic car accident 18 months ago where his mum swerved the car to avoid an animal and lost control on a wet road. She wasn't speeding or drinking, she just lost control. So why do people think they are so freakin invincible when it comes to breaking the law?

I for one believe drink driving should carry a madatory jail sentence once your past .10. How many cases do see of people twice this limit. If they dont know by now jail them.
As for speeding, yep there sure are some out there doing it dangerous however my peeve is revenue raising being sold as speeding is dangerous. Here in vic with have adds "if only he was doing 5k's less" he would have missed the pedestrian. Here's a thought "if only the pedestrian didnt step out in front of a car" it wouldnt have mattered. The whole 5k's over thing is just there to justify speed cameras. Even friends who are police toatlly agree.
that leads me to another peeve, pedestrians, anyone noticed lately how pedestrians are stepping in front of cars nowadays expecting you to stop?

Absolutely Peter, I work in the city (of Melb) and the amount of people I see on a daily basis who just walk out into traffic is astonishing. The speeding I was referring to was mainly the ones doing 10ks or over. And the morons who do like 160ks and wind up killing some poor innocent soul. I just wish they'd demolish the drink driving limit altogether or at least make it lower and hand out massive penalties if anyone is caught doing it. How many more people have to die before something serious is done?

It would be nice if they spent the same money on car accident prevention as they do on airplane security. I know what gets more people killed. I also know what freaks people out more. Sigh.
