Nah, anything really Dis. If we need it , we buy it. If we want it, well we buy it too. hence the problem sometimes.

In all seriousness the economical downturn hasn't affected us in any way other than groceries appear to have risen somewhat. And electricity. That's all we've noticed. Having said that, we did sell a large property and downgraded to an old place in the city, so I guess that took care of the economy for us.
I think down here a lot of ppl are doing that. The economical crisi hopefully makes some ppl realise they don't need everything they've got. Too often ppl don't own it anyway. I would rather own lesser things than have greater things that i don't own - the bank does!

I know people who aren't super rich but they have so much stuff. It's amazing what accumulates over the years...

well when the height of this hit my OH lost his job... I did a big post about it not long ago about how it changed us...

basically we got rid of non essentials. like hair appts, nails, foxtel. stopped using the dishwasher, wrote out shopping lists and didnt stray from it.. Stopped my personal training sessions..

Through out it all, we're a lot happier, they might be convenient but i prefer the time i have with my family over the money now

Yes, I know many ppl like that Dis. I hate clutter, and if we haven't used something in a long while and probably won't again, we either sell it if it's reasonable, or give it away. I like to think what goes around comes around.

To be honest, I don't think its really hit us, thankfully Brett's work load hasn't dropped, and he's still as busy as ever. Besides, I'm in the processes of spending a fortune on a wedding later this year lol.
