    hun lots of teens have diabetes so don't think yourself to be in the minority...
    They just don't take good care of themselves like you are trying to do...

    We seem to have a genetic disposition to type 1 in our family. Within 5 years, one of my uncles and one of my cousins were diagnosed. My uncle was in his late 40's and my cousin in her 20's when diagnosed.

    Sadly, my cousin has had numerous other problems associated with her condition but she is battling on and doing well.

    That's a darn shame Anne. Diabetes is really a horrible thing.

    Ha ha yes we did seem to go off topic. I brought a trampoline off eBay and my uncle is picking it up for me! Can't wait, it'll be loads of fun.
