Hmm ... thinking, thinking thinking ... nah the thought of food & eating in a situation like that just turns my stomach. I'll stick with the 2 "food groups" I nominated thanks.

I must admit GSD4 EVA i agree completely, whilst what i nominated sounds yummo, it'd be a carton of cigs and a heck of a lot of alcohol..

The end of dead man walking was really sad, even if it wasn't entirely accurate..

After I posted, I was sooooo thinking about ciggies, especially as I'm so fat now because I've stopped smoking. I still love smoking but I know I can never have "just one" .... I'd be straight back on.

I have a real phobia about needles so the end of that movie always upsets me. I shouldn't, but I have to ask ..... inaccurate ... how ?

It was based on a true story, however in the movie you know how he admits to the murders and repents (for lack of a better explanation)?

well the actual true story is that he denied every doing it right down to the last minute even in the chair he was screaming for his innocence..

makes you wonder whether he really did do it or not. but regardless i think sean penn played the character amazingly well for the sort it was.. But then i've always seen him as the bad boy so to speak..

I quit smoking at the beginning of last year, Im fairly lucky though (if you'd call it that) i can start and stop with little to no withdrawal effects, i normally start up when i get really stressed or really bored (strange about the bordem but it's true).. Thankfully when thinks get better i just put them down and don't go near them..

My OH on the other hand, is shocking he can't go 4 hours lol

Ah, the Hollywood ending I see .... although, I do agree with you about Sean Penn doing a great job.

As for the ciggies ... I have an addictive personality. I know I can never have one ever again. I'm still waiting to feel better 2 years down the track. I don't eat junk & I specifically didn't change my diet or start eating sweets to compensate. And yet I still stacked the weight on. When I get a bit of money together, I'm going to get a Wii. People reckon it's great for a bit of fitness.

I stopped with hypnotherapy. Great guy. He didn't do the "smoking is bad" type of thing. He got to the "triggers" of why I smoked & dealt with it that way. I was just about a chain smoker. After a couple of hours in his office ... non-smoker. When I feel like having one now, I just breathe through the craving & I'm good to go.
